This creates an acid-free surface for painting. The universal acrylic primer provides a sturdy triple-primed weight suitable for bold painting techniques with thick paint application on triple-primed cotton canvas. Expertly stretched with deep slanted stretcher bars to prevent ghosting and back-stapled with included keys to allow for keying or re-stretching, this canvas is designed to enhance and display paintings. The four paintable edges and 1-1/2" deep design allows for frameless presentation when displaying artwork and enhances the value of finished paintings.
