The SoHo Scout Pochade Box is perfect for any Plein Air artist, allowing for easy painting outdoors. With features designed for carrying supplies, the lightweight, mahogany stained and lacquered wood box with brass plated hardware exudes an elegantly stylish look. Its universal tripod mount allows for use with the adjustable SoHo Deluxe Tripod or similar quality tripods, providing the flexibility to sit or stand while painting. Protective rubber feet make it an equally excellent tabletop easel, and it can even be used on your lap to paint wherever inspiration strikes.

The adjustable strap and leatherette handle make it convenient to carry the SoHo Scout with you wherever you go, while the sure-lock angle hinge ensures a comfortable working angle that won't change while painting. Patented brass substrate holding sliders are integrated into the top of the box, making it easily adjustable and extremely stable. The sliders are slotted to accommodate two 1/8" - 1/4" panels without them touching, and will friction-hold stretched canvas up to 7/8" deep. The box can accommodate paintings up to 9x12" horizontally and 12" wide and 18" tall. The integrated lid sliders hold the substrate below your sightline, providing an unobstructed view of your subject.
