Sennelier Extra-Soft Pastel Set, Autumn- 6 Stick Set

Sennelier's Extra-Soft Pastels, created over three years at the turn of the 20th century, resulted in the production of one of the largest chromatic ranges of pastels available. Comfortable to hold, these pastels allow for the coverage of large areas with a rich, luxurious color. Each pastel is made up of a natural transparent binder, with increasing amounts of mineral fines added for gradient shades, ultimately leading towards white. The exceptional brightness of these pastels is due to the pigment and natural mineral fines discovered by Sennelier in 1905, and has been used ever since. The manufacturing process of the Sennelier cylindrical pastel does not compress the paste. Each half stick measures 1-1/4" long x 1/2" in diameter. These 6-Stick Sets are peggable and compact. Made from high quality pure pigment, they dry naturally in open air and are housed safely in molded foam. Each set contains 6 pieces.
